What is PVC-O pipe and how does it differ from traditional PVC pipe?

PVC-O (Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride) pipe is a modified PVC pipe that has several significant differences in structure and performance compared to traditional PVC pipe:

Manufacturing process: PVC-O pipe is made through a special manufacturing process that involves directional stretching of PVC at high temperatures, which makes the molecular structure of the pipe more orderly. This directional stretching process improves the performance and strength of the pipe.

Strength and toughness: PVC-O pipe is generally better than traditional PVC pipe in terms of impact resistance and pressure resistance. This is because the directional stretching process allows PVC-O pipe to distribute pressure more evenly when it is stressed, thereby increasing its ability to withstand pressure and impact.

Weight: PVC-O pipe is lighter than traditional PVC pipe. This is because its higher strength allows it to reduce wall thickness while maintaining the same strength, thereby reducing the overall weight of the pipe.

Corrosion resistance: Although traditional PVC pipes already have good corrosion resistance, PVC-O pipes can maintain corrosion resistance for longer in more demanding environments due to their improved molecular structure.

Lifespan: Due to higher strength and corrosion resistance, PVC-O pipes generally have a longer service life
